Our Story

Ubuntu Retold Initiatives CBO was founded in Nairobi, Kenya, by a group of young visionaries committed to community transformation. Born out of a deep belief that African communities hold the solutions to their own challenges, the organization was established to create platforms where youth can lead, innovate, and drive sustainable change.

What started as a small group of passionate individuals has grown into a vibrant community-based organization that impacts hundreds of lives across multiple communities. Our journey is defined by a commitment to empowering young people, protecting the environment, and celebrating African heritage.

From community clean-ups to youth leadership summits, from tree planting campaigns to innovation workshops, every initiative we undertake is rooted in the belief that lasting change comes from within the community.
